Happy Birthday Candace!

We had so much fun at Candace's birthday party, I can't believe she's 30! We'll I guess I just have a couple more years till I'll be there :) We had so much fun skating, it is weird how it just kind of all comes back to you when you get out there and do a couple of laps. Ben was a skating machine! He was all over the place and having a great time! I skated some, held a sleeping baby some and chatted with Abbey, Jodi and Katherine about baby stuff quite a bit. That was fun, too! I was thankful that plenty of people wanted to play with Cooper so that I could skate some, I even got to hold hands with my date while we skated. That was sweet, thanks Ben! I only have a couple of shots that Candace took while we were there, I wish we had brought our camera so she didn't have to do all the photographing. But, like Ben says, it's what she does! (If you don't know Candace, you don't know that she constantly snapping her camera, especially around cute little ones like Coop. She is a great friend and it's always sweet to get pics from her after we hang out together!) Notice my shoulder is very drooly, I think that comes with the territory, but thanks for the kisses Cooper!

mommy's day in...
In bed, to be exact. Nope, I am not sick or feeling down, or low or anything at all. I just needed to not go to the office today - by that I mean- the bonus room. So I toted all the computer stuff downstairs and lounged out all day working from the bed, that's right the bed. I took a few photos to confirm this did in fact happen.

The funny part was that all the animals wanted to join me. They all were sleeping at nap time 2:00 on the dot, that's also when Cooper is usually napping too, very funny animals indeed! Check them out.

Part of our reason for staying in bed was Cooper's not feeling so hot, he has a number of things going on: he has a cold, he got some vaccines yesterday, he also got some supplements to help move things along digestively, and he is teething big time!
So, all those things meant - hunker down with some tissues, diapers, wipes, and the computer for some serious mommy time/work time.

Some photos from the farm, Texas trip.
This is the main house and barn at the farm, Ben's parents have spent the last couple of years getting this up and finally living in their awesome home!

Hanging out on the porch, this is a nice warm spot when the sun shines down. It's just right, even in February!

Meeting Great Granny for the first time was fun for Coop!

Cooper had a few naps out here on the porch.

The dogs like the water, this is one of the ponds. The dogs are Eeyore, Jones, and Allie - great buds!

Ben and Allie returning from an adventure in the woods.

Things we love
Valentine's Day started me thinking about things we love. Cooper has a few things he'd like to share that he quite loves already:
He loves his chair!

He loves His daddy!

He loves to watch the laundry spin!

He loves sweet potatoes and helping feed himself!

He love sitting up and playing with his feet!

He loves his mommy!

He loves napping in mommy's arms!

He loves to play on quilts aunt Heather made!

He loves mommy's babies from when she was little!

He loves to watch his doggy run!

He loves kisses right there on his cheek!

Cooper's second solid foods

For those of you who are wondering, this was his second meal because I fed him his first meal at home alone. I just couldn't wait for Ben. And neither could Coop. I was having a banana and he almost grabbed it out of my hands. I think he was ready. So this was his first meal and his second meal, bananas and rice cereal. A yummy combination I am sure :) This is Ben feeding him. But Nani also participated in the banana fun! This was taken around Jan. 11. Sorry for the delay!
